Virginia Wolfe Kitterman
February 27, 1934 to April 19, 2022
Born in Earl Park, Indiana on February 27, 1934 to Charles and Bessie Wolfe, Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings. Ginny and the love of her life, Charles (Bud) Kitterman, were married for 72 years. Together they raised their four children in Earl Park. In 1981 they became the owner / operators of Anchor Inn Resort on Little Sand Lake near Spring Lake MN. Ginny always enjoyed participating in Eastern Star and worshipping at the Earl Park Presbyterian Church, the Sand Lake Alliance Church, and the Freedom Community Church of Earl Park. She relied on her strong relationship with Jesus Christ to guide her throughout her life. As her children retired from their career jobs, they all built homes near Anchor Inn Resort and joined their parents operating the resort, enjoying the peace and beauty of northern Minnesota, and being close to family.
Ginny lived the last 17 months of her life in the loving care of the professionals at Aspen Circle Memory Care in Bigfork, Mn. Surrounded by family, she was gently and tenderly escorted from this life by her Savior Jesus Christ on April 19, 2022. Ginny is survived by her loving husband, Bud; their children Cheryl & Dan Gentry, Carol & Tom Kossaris, Rick & Peg Kitterman, and Randy & Kim Kitterman; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A summer celebration of Ginny’s life will be held at a date to be determined. Please make any memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association.
