Tony Leroy Wagner

Tony Leroy Wagner, age 64, of Deer River, MN passed away peacefully on April 9, 2020, at his home surrounded by family.

Tony was born April 18, 1955 in Sidney MT to Samuel Wagner and Elizabeth (Betty) Brown. At the age of 12 Tony moved to Deer River, MN to live with his sister and brother-in-law until he graduated from Deer River High School and entered the United States Air Force in 1973 where he served for 19 years which included 2 tours in Desert Storm. In 1995 Tony moved to Jacksonville, FL where he was a construction laborer until 2015 when he decided to return to Deer River MN. Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, gardening, music, dancing and most of all cooking.

Tony is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Betty (Gawryluk) Brown and father Samuel Christopher Wagner.

Tony is survived by his children, Diane (Chad) Meyer of Grand Rapids, MN, Amanda Kuck of Deer River, MN, Anthony Wagner of Shakopee, MN, sisters, Shirley Pinocci of Great Falls MT, Barb (Bud) Serfling of Deer River, MN, Joan (Andy) Thomas of Sun City West, AZ, Mary (Steve) Gill of Lyons NE, Bonnie (Bill) Weber of Auborn, WA, half-sister Betty (Norman) Vercruyssen of Victor, MT, 8 grandchildren, Tanisha Kuck, Camey Kuck, Remey Kuck, Nichole Meyer, Meghan Meyer, Zoey Wagner, Alexi Wagner, Kenzi Wagner, 2 great grandchildren and many wonderful nieces and nephews,

Memorial service with Military Honors will be at a later date.
