Terri Robin (Shears) Madson

Terri Robin (Shears) Madson Born March 16, 1954 passed August 21, 2024.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Terri’s passing occurred nearly 53 years to the day of the death of her beloved Father. 

Survived by the love of her life Wayne Madson, son Derek Keller and daughter Kristi Keller, sisters Sharon Shears (Williston, Florida), Randee Shears (Coon Rapids), Tim (Sandy) (Brooklyn Park) Shears.  Niece Debbie (Andy) Michalek, nephew Tom Kallio. Wayne’s daughter Annie (Jeremy) Lattimore, son Michael (Stef) Madson. Grandchildren Gage Keller, Adam Hines Jr, Gracie and Ellie Lattimore, and Dillion Kay Madson. 

Preceded in death by Father Vern and Mother Evelyn Shears, sister Judy Shears and first husband Ray Keller. Grandson Shad Keller, Nephew Sheldon Hallett and Niece Tracy Hallett-Baer .

Terri had a heart as big as Alaska and compassion and respect for all. She loved the Minnesota outdoors and believed as Ray Steven’s song said “Everything is beautiful in its own way!”

Terri grew up on Rush Island Lake and asked a portion of her remains be placed near her childhood home. 

A small private family service will be held at a later date. 

The family thanks the nurses, doctors and caregivers at Deer River and St Mary’s Hospital in Duluth.
