Tami Miller, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell Miller; her parents, Tom and Sandy Hammerlund; her five children, Ashley Miller, Danielle Flores, Dusty Miller, Kacie Miller, and Stara Miller; her many brothers, sisters, and extended family; and her 17 grandchildren, her 3 beloved rescue dogs, and all of whom brought her immeasurable joy.
Tami was an exceptional mother and grandmother whose love and devotion shaped the lives of her family in countless ways. She touched every life she was a part of with kindness, strength, and warmth.
A longtime, cherished resident of Deer River, Tami embraced the thrill of racing snowmobiles with true passion and spirit. She was also known for her compassionate heart—widely recognized for rescuing and caring for every stray animal she came across. Her adventurous spirit and selfless love defined her, and her community will always remember the joy she brought to their lives.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at her home in Deer River, MN. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and honor the beautiful life she lived.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the community for the outpouring of love, outreach, and support during this difficult time. Tami will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, generosity, and courage will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
