Steven Alan Beam was born September 10th, 1956, in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Steve passed away on Wednesday, May 28th after a hard-fought battle with multiple cancers, facing life head on.
Work was his passion; he began as a preteen weeding produce fields and continued working as management in industrial construction until his death. Steve enjoyed mentoring the next generation and was involved with several negotiating committees.
The picture shows two of his interest, baking and the St. Louis Blues. Steve was a rabid Packers fan (Sorry Vikings). Always ready to embrace new pursuits, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and later on in life, dressage and sporting clays.
Steve will be sorely missed by family and friends. We mourn him but take joy in knowing he is in a better place with the pain behind him.
Steven is survived by his wife Gail, brothers Mike (Doris) and Jeff (Ann), sister Terry, and his nieces and nephews.
Steven was proceeded in death by his father Larry and his mother Joyce.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 5th, at Carroll Funeral Home in Deer River, with a visitation held at 10:00 a.m.
