Stan grew up the Twin Cities, joined the Marine Corps and served in Viet Nam. After his service in the Marine Corps he served in the Army. A very PROUD and TRUE Patriot. Stan and his wife Debbie moved to Zimmerman in 1976 and raised their 2 children there until 1986 when they moved to Elk River, MN. Stan did everything from traveling sales, to running a Phillips 66 full service gas station to working in several print shops, operating folders, stitchers and cutters.
He retired from John Robert’s Printing in Coon Rapids as a cutter and moved north to the family cabin on Big Ole lake in Marcell MN. July of 2019, he purchased his current home in Bigfork, MN. Stan enjoyed many interests, hobbies and activities including hunting, fishing, reading, muscle cars, golfing, beanbags, darts, cribbage, dice, and visiting with numerous friends. Stan was a very prominent fixture in Bigfork and anyone who met him soon found he was an incredibly kind hearted, patriotic, interesting, and dearly loved man.
