Shirley Rae (Mason) Langford

Shirley Rae (Mason) Langford (82) of Bigfork MN passed away peacefully on February 12, 2022.

She was born September 6, 1939 in Sac City, Iowa to Charles and Olive Mason. She moved to the Bigfork area to live with her beloved Aunt and Uncle George and Gerturde Perkins as a young girl. She spent most of her life in Bigfork. She loved to go fishing with her family, both in the boat and ice fishing. She enjoyed getting out in the woods mushroom hunting and berry picking. quilting, crocheting, gardening, canning and playing bingo were other favorite pastimes of hers.

Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by daughter Irene (Bruce) Johnson, granddaughter Andrea Johnson, grandson Adam Johnson and great-granddaughter Miralee Johnson who shares Shirley’s birthday.

She was preceded in death by her parents, loving aunt and uncle Gertrude and George Perkins and her longtime partner and best friend Jerry Irwin.

A celebration of life will be planned for the spring.
