Sherrie’s passions were reading and writing and she exceeded the record of reading the most books in the school library, which in part led to her excellent oratory and writing abilities early on. She also passed down to her grandchildren the enjoyment of reading. Sherrie was also a die-hard MN Twins fan, and preferred to listen to them on the radio. When she did go to the casino, she could usually be found at Keno. She also loved to travel, and dreamed of working for the United Nations as a linguist interpreter. Later in life, she filled her days with her favorite pastime spending it with her grandchildren, who she called the “apples of her eyes”.
An overnight wake will start at 5:30pm on Tuesday July 9 at the Ball Club Community Center, with services officiated by Allen Hardy on Wednesday July 10, at 10:00am.
Pallbearers will be Gary Charwood Sr., Gary Charwood Jr., Donnie Charwood, Dooner Warner, Robert Jaspers and Kenneth Thompson.
