Sean Patrick Michael Torgrimson

Sean Patrick Michael Torgrimson (20) passed away unexpectedly on August 24th, 2023. Sean was born September 30th, 2002, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Katie Cleath and Thomas Torgrimson.

Sean had the kindest soul and touched each person he knew. Everyone considered him their family. He was always a good hype man when you were going through something tough and somehow always knew the right thing to say. His favorite thing was to pick on his nephew Declan to “toughen” him up. Sean was such an easy-going guy and he truly cared about everyone.

Sean graduated from Bigfork High School in 2021. He was a dedicated sports player especially football. Once graduated he moved on to living in Hibbing MN with some of his closest friends and enrolled into college for welding. He knew he wanted to be in some type of trade but wasn’t sure which line to go into. Recently he had moved back home and started working doing carpentry. This seemed to be the career he was the most interested in pursuing. He enjoyed his job and loved his coworkers.

Sean is preceded in death by his Uncle Patrick Cleath, Grandfather Michael Cleath, Grandmother Betty Cleath, Grandfather Luverne Cleath, Uncle Jacob Cleath, Uncle Douglas Cleath, and his Aunt Lori Abbott.

Sean is survived by his parents Katie Cleath and Thomas Torgrimson. Grandmothers Mary Cleath and Diane Ostlund. Grandfather Kenneth Torgrimson (Linda) Sisters Alex Cleath (Mark), Alyssa Torgrimson, Sophia Torgrimson, Tori Torgrimson, Trystan Rahier, and Oakley Rahier. Nephew Declan Wass, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many friends.

A celebration of life will take place at the Grace Community Lutheran Church in Bigfork, MN on Saturday September 9th at 1pm. The Cleath and Torgrimson family would like to thank everyone that has reached out in Sean’s absence.
