Robert "Bob" William Savich

Robert (Bob) Savich, age 87 of Bigfork, MN, passed away Wednesday, December 13th in his home.

Bob enjoyed years of hunting, fishing, morning coffee at The Shop, and 4 o’clock happy hour with friends.

Bob’s careers included logging, mining, law enforcement, and business owner of Savich Oil Company until his retirement. He was also a member of the Bigfork Fire Department for 28 years.

Born in Minneapolis to Dan and Edna (Nordby) Savich, they then moved to Wildwood where Bob and his siblings grew up. Bob married Robie (Prather) on September 11, 1954 and they made their home in Bigfork, MN where they raised 4 children.

Bob is survived by his children; Randy (Teri) Savich of Coleraine, Tim (Cathy) Savich of Hibbing, and Holli (Todd) Olson of Cohasset, 9 grandkids, and 13 great grandkids plus 1 on the way, as well as,  Several Nieces & Nephews 

He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings, wife Robie, and son Tom.
