History: Richard was raised and graduated in Grand Rapids Minnesota. He served in the US Army, after his honorable discharge he married Linda Ivy and they raised their kids on a farm in Deer River Minnesota. Richard lived and farmed in Deer River for the last 45 years. He had a passion for working on and rebuilding muscle cars and of course the sport of wrestling. He was inducted into the Grand Rapids Wrestling Hall of Fame, and was a captain. He also qualified for the state tournament in CC running.
