Richard Eino Kallio

Richard Eino Kallio passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Rich was born to Pearl and Eino on July 12, 1944. He had several sisters and one brother. He was blessed with 2 loving children: Debbie Michalek (Andy) and Tom Kallio (Becky) from his first marriage to Judith Shears. He married Linda September 18, 1988 and was a loving father to her children, Debra Page (Todd), Deanna Collins (Paul), Duane Nelson Jr. (Kaloni), and Dan Nelson (Tania). Rich and Linda were married 32 wonderful years. They enjoyed traveling, camping, spending time with family and friends and taking long drives to nowhere in particular, he just liked to drive. Rich turned his career into his passion and remained a truck driver for his entire life. He served on the Squaw Lake Fire Department and was the Max Township supervisor. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, and hunting. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rich will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
