It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our very kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather, Richard Kenneth Hagen. He was born in Minneapolis to Kenneth and Mildred Hagen on November 2nd, 1947. A graduate of Richfield Highschool and the University of Minnesota, he was self-employed in the field of Medical Management.
A blind date to the state fair resulted in 48 years of marriage to Krista, two perfect children, Stephanie and Jeffrey, and with their exceptional spouses and more perfect grandchildren. He loved time with his family and friends playing and talking sports and sharing a good laugh. He enjoyed his lake, woods, and being up north.
He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by Krista, Stephanie, Corey, Jeff, Anna, and Grandkids, Tyler, Alex, Charlie, and Abby, Sisters Kris and Cathy, brother Dave, and numerous nieces’ nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at Jesse Lake Lutheran Church on November 16th at 11 AM. Private burial at the cabin, and a celebration of life at the Chapek’s in Eden Prairie November 26th at 1-4 pm. Memorials to the American Cancer Society for research in Cholangiocarcinoma or your favorite charity.
