Mary Kathryn (Reed) Grauman

Mary Kathryn (Reed) Grauman, Born May 14, 1946 left this world peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday January 5, 2023. a native of Jackson County, North Carolina and a resident of Ball Club, MN of 52 years.

Mary was born and lived in Cherokee, NC, she left NC at the age of 16 to attend Haskell American Indian University in Lawrence, KS where she completed 11 & 12th grade and 2 years of college. Mary Moved to Minnesota in 1969-1970 with her husband and daughters where she was a homemaker for many years. She went on to work for Itasca County Human Services for 30 years until her retirement.

Mary Loved spending time with her family. she was known to many as G-ma. Mary would go home every October to North Carolina where she worked at the fair with her sisters. the following June they would go on a "sisters trip".

You could often find Mary on her deck with her Coffee. She enjoyed cross stitch and made several blankets for her great-grandbabies. Mary loved golfing with her family, she enjoyed bowling, shooting Pool and going to the casino.

She is survived by 3 daughters Nelda (Bruce) White, Sharon Grauman, Nancy (Charles) Raisch, Graet Grandson Jaxon River Grauman, Brother Bruce (Krista) Reed, Sisters Matlida (Pat) Calhoun, Linda (Virgil) Swimmer And Julia (Kirk) Lossiah. 11 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Mary was Preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Lucinda (Bird) Reed. Brother William Reed, Sisters Bessie Welch, Ollie Reed, Iva Gentry, Sharon Reed, nephew/son Marc "Butch" Grauman Jr.
