History: Born in Deer River & raised in Ball Club where he lived the majority of his life. Graduated from Deer River High School in 1966 and went to Detroit Lakes Technical College for Auto Body/Mechanics. He enjoyed fixing cars, riding in his cars, birch barking, wild ricing, berry picking, bed rock bowling, and sitting by the fire. He always kept his door open for family and friends where you would find him sitting watching his favorite shows.
