Leon "Beaver" Bebeau Obituary

Beaver Leon Bebeau

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, & cousin, [Beaver], who left this world far too soon on 10/30/25, at the age of sixty.

Born on [1/30/1965) Beav brought endless joy, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone who knew him. With his bright smile, curious spirit, and boundless energy, he touched hearts in ways words can scarcely describe. Beaver was a loving son, uncle, brother, nephew and cousin, always ready with a hug, a piggyback ride, or a helping hand.  His joyful presence filled every room with warmth and love.

Leon spent his early years in the Minneapolis area, where he was known for his strong work ethic and caring heart. He worked as a commercial hot tar roofer, a trade that reflected his dedication and perseverance through life’s challenges. Later in life, Leon returned Leach Lake, where he found peace and purpose helping our elders and raising the children he loved so dearly.

He was happiest outdoors — fishing, hunting, and ricing — sharing stories, laughter, and lessons with family and friends. His generosity, humor, and steady presence touched everyone around him.

Leon will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. His kindness and strength will continue to guide us, and his memory will live on in the waters, woods, and hearts he cherished.

He will be forever cherished by his parents Barb & George Bebeau siblings Shelley, Stacy & Dana. Niece’s & Nephew’s Tia (Lamonz), Cory, Tyler, Justin, Leela, Nicole. his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who adored him deeply. Though his time with us was short, his love and light will remain in our hearts forever.

A visitation will be held for Beaver on 11/4/25 at 4pm at Ball Club Community Center. His Service will held at 10:00 at the Ball Club Community Center with a burial at Townsite Cemetery to follow. The family invites all who loved Beav to join in remembering the laughter, love, and happiness he brought into the world. In lieu of flowers, the family is welcoming donations to Carroll’s Funeral Home, Deer River, MN or cause meaningful to Tia Bebeau in Leon’s memory.
