Visitation will be held Saturday December 10th at 10 am with the service following at 11 am at Grace Lutheran Church in Bigfork, MN 56628.

She will be buried next to her Mom and Dad in Kelliher, MN at a later date.

Kathy grew up in Kelliher Minnesota, she attended school k-12 in Kelliher. She married her first husband (Rolland J Hastings) in August of 1969. They were divorced in 1991. They had two children, Shane Edward born October 5th 1969 and Sheri Rose born February 9th 1971. Kathy married her soulmate & Husband (William Powell) September of 2001. Kathy is the owner of “The Effie Café”. She is a member of the Red Hatter’s. She made friends with everyone she met. Everyone who came in contact with Kathy loved her. She attended the Effie Lutheran Church and was part of the Bible study that is held at “The Effie Café” every week. She is a pillar of the BigFork & Effie Communities.
