June Jennine (Johnson) Hjelden was born in Devils Lake, ND on June 17, 1946 and was called to Heaven on April 24, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grand & great grandmother and an amazing friend. She married the love of her life Ronald Hjelden on February 24, 1961 and together found a true friendship, raised a family and built a beautiful marriage of 63 wonderful years. She had many jobs in the community from 'The Avon Lady', a clerk at the 'Red Owl' and a secretary for many leagues of bowlers. Her and Ron enjoyed many activities while raising their children, bringing them hunting, fishing, camping, family trips and building their house in 78.
They had many adventures of creating amazing memories with their siblings, friends and 'the grands'.
She loved being outdoors in her gardens and watching the birds. Her crafting skills were gorgeous - especially her 'hand-made' cards. They spent their winters in Texas amongst dear friends for years sharing many joyous occasions.
June truly loved everyone with the greatest, kindest and compassionate heart she had - who will all miss her dearly!
