Jerry Lee Naslund

Jerry Lee Naslund was born September 25, 1950, in Duluth, Minnesota to George and Agnes (Glines) Naslund. He passed away on September 16, 2025, at Maplewood's in Deer River after a short stay. He was raised in Duluth, Lakewood township and in the 1970's settled in Deer River. Jerry was the 6th child born and Beth was the seventh. Early employment in International Falls included Boise Cascade and Ewald's Farm. After a time working the mink ranch in Big Falls, he went to work logging. Jerry worked at various places in his career including Rajala Lumber, Marcell Mill, Deer River Foresty, Paul Bunyan as brush trimmer under power lines, Suomi Recycling, but if you'd ask him, he was a logger and proud of it. In his spare time, he cut and sold firewood. Jerry attended Detroit Lakes Vocational Technical Institute with a diploma in welding.

Flea markets and auctions were a part of his simple lifestyle. Jerry enjoyed going to Rollag, MN to admire the old equipment. Coffee at Sportsman's Cafe and visiting with his friends was important. He enjoyed hunting deer, fishing and riding his four wheeler.

Jerry took the flight out to Laughlin to visit Beth and Pete.

He was able to visit the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Lake Havasu City and Oatman, Arizona. Jerry's response to the sites was "Holy Moly."

Surviving family include his sister, Beth (Peter) Johnson, her children; Dawn (Kris) Flesland, Travis Forsythe and Tiffany Houska, all of International Falls. Great nieces and nephews; Jesse Forsythe, Parker Flesland, Grace Flesland, Ava and Addy Forsythe.

More nieces and nephews include, Camille Naslund, Zakk Bandemer and many more.

Cousins: Gary Steinberg, Carol Johnson, Jean Hector, Judy Storgaard, Mike Glines, Betty Reed, Gus Naslund and many more too numerous to mention.

Service at Deer River Bible Church Tuesday, September 23, 2025, Visitation one hour prior, at the church

Light lunch to follow at Deer River Bible Church

Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Coleraine 2:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be, Ron Beatty, Travis Forsythe, Peter Johnson, Dan Villeneuve, Willie and Robert Johnson.

Honorary Pallbearers are all his friends.
