James Craig Koutsky

James was born October 16, 1975 in Cass Lake, MN, he graduated form Deer River High School in 1994. James was a “Jack of all trades” He had had worked at Northern Lights Casino, Leech Lake Plumbing and Heating, Leech Lake Housing Authority and also Bemidji Cabinetry.

Later in life he was self employed doing different things such as plumbing, construction, yard work, working on almost any handyman skills. He enjoyed helping other community members and was always willing no matter what James loved to do beautiful pencil drawings and was very talented in art. . He also loved to cheer on his favorite team, the Minnesota Vikings .

James is survived by his Mother Mary Koutsky/ Schwochert and his Father Craig Koutsky. His beloved and treasured son James Cloud. His sisters: Gloria Headbird, Diane (James) Koutsky, Alisha (Joshua) Seeleye, Tahnee (Joshua) Oshea, His Brother Craig Jr (Katey) Koutsky Nieces and nephews: Tristan, Dylan, Tashaun, Tiara, Tasia, Gordon “Gabby”, Sincere, Summer, Nate, Aubree, Izaiah, Josh Jr, and Talon.

James was preceded in death by his Grandparents Bud (Arnold) and Gladys Koutsky, Stella and Vincent Schwochert.  Special Cousins: John Wayne Grauman, Lyle “Butch” Grauman, Myron Lyons, Jack and Andy Wilson and best friend Samuel Bellanger
