Gladys Agnes (Maki) Davis

Gladys A. Davis of Deer River, died on Monday, May 25th, 2026, at the age of 94. Gladys was a vibrant and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked as an RN for 52 years at many hospitals and nursing homes. She had a deep faith and loved music. She was loved by all that knew her.

Gladys is survived by her daughters Loree (David) Erickson and Doreen (Ron) Hoopman; 14 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, children David, Dale, Melanie, Glenn, Cathy; Father Jalmer; Mother Irja; granddaughter Angie.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Marcell Community Church, with a visitation held from 1:00 p.m. to the service at 2:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow at the Marcell Community Center.
