Gerald "Jerry" Douglas Kraskey

Jerry Kraskey of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away peacefully April 17,2025 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Jerry was born to Gerald and Orella Kraskey on July 28, 1944. He graduated from Deer River High School in 1962. He served in the Navy as torpedoman on the USS Dewey from 1962-1966.

He decided to move out to California, where he met his wife Becky. They married on March 27, 1971 and welcomed their daughter Terri in 1972.

Jerry spent his whole working career in the paper manufacturing business. In 1991, he moved his family to Grand Rapids MN and stayed until his passing.

Jerry’s survived by his wife of 54 years Becky, Daughter Terri (Jim) Zahn, 2 wonderful Granddaughters, Isabelle and Shelby Zahn. Brother Jim Kraskey, Sisters, Geraldine Schopper and Carol Frisbee.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald & Orella, brothers, Dale & Joe, Sister Debbie.

No services will be held according to his wishes.
