George F. Donnell

George F. Donnell was born July 15, 1963 in Cass lake Mn. He left us to go to heaven on December 5th, 2020.

He is survived by His Mother: Donna Donnell, Sisters: June Fink (Ed) Diana Sherman: Ceceilia Braford: Kim Hanson (Terry) Brother Richard Donnell Jr.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Donnell Sr. and his sister Bridget McCabe .

The service will be at River of Life Church in Grand Rapids, Mn. On Saturday December 12th 2020 at 10:00 AM

George worked many years at the Hired Hands recycling center in Deer River Mn. Which transitioned to the MDI facility in Cohasset. He also enjoyed working for years at the Holiday station store in Deer River. He worked a brief time in Hibbing at each of these companies. He was a very dedicated worker in both positions enjoying his jobs. His favorite sport was Bowling and participated in Special Olympics Bowling . His favorite TV shows were the old Westerns and other older shows on ME TV. He was a loyal Vikings fan and had much Viking memorabilia. He watched as many games as he could and cheered them on. George was a very sociable person and had many friends, he brought joy and laughter wherever he was. He enjoyed going to church to worship the Lord. He couldn’t sing well so would whistle along with the songs.
