She enjoyed spending time with family and friends for birthdays or just to get together playing cards, bingo, going to the casino. She also had a knack for making quilts, braiding rugs, and was an exceptional housekeeper who kept her home immaculate. She really enjoyed the seasonal activities too when she was able, bough picking, ricing, resort work always a busy lady.

She worked for the Leech Lake Elderly Nutrition Program for 32 years retiring in 2020.

Preceded in death by an infant daughter Valerie Kaye Bowstring, daughter Laura Howard, her husband Lawrence “Jack” Parker, a granddaughter Jaclyn Grace Howard and her father Joseph Bowstring , her mother Grace Goggleye Bowstring , a brother Earl Bowstring, grandfather Sam Goggleye

Those she leaves behind are her Daughters Arlene Parker (Jeff), Iris Parker and her son Curtis Bowstring (Karen). Brother’s Lewis Bowstring, Bruce Bowstring Sr (Carmen) Marvin Bowstring (Dolores), Eldon Bowstring. Sister’s Josephine Brown, Rose Smith (Donald) and Adeline/Dolly Bowstring. Her grandchildren, Jimmy Howard, Val Howard, Chelsea Moe (Wes), Rosella Headbird (Jordan), and Aaron, her great grandchildren and many niece’s and nephew’s.
