Donald John Porter 71 years old

Died November 20, 2024 at the Aspen Circle Nursing Home, Bigfork, MN.

Born December 2, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN

Survived by: Brother Jay Porter and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by the love of his life; wife Denise E. Porter, Mother (Mini) Mary Anne Ethel Porter (Walters), Father Jay Roy Porter Sr., brother George, sister Marilyn and sister Patty and many friends. Survived by: Brother Jay Jr. Porter and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Don loved his family, friends and neighbors and his animals, He lived for fishing and hunting. Don graduated from Deer River High and worked at Leech Lake Indian Housing, Rajala Lumber for many years, then started his own Mr. Furnace business for Heating/Cooling in Bigfork.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date spring of 2025.
