Dicky Richard Denny

Dicky Richard Denny passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Jan. 5, 2022 at 12:45 pm. He was born in Royal Center, IN on Jan. 14, 1944 to Simon & Ruby Denny. Dick attended Royal Center Community School and was a cement mason for 30+ years. Dick was married in Logansport, IN to his loving wife of 57 years, Jean Crippen on May 31, 1964.

Dick loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, hobby farming and his family including his dogs Chopper #1 & Chopper #2.

He is survived by his wife Jean, his children Rick (Janelle) Denny, Buddy (Becky) Denny, Rita (Darwin K.) Denny all of Squaw Lake, MN, and Lisa (Tom W.) Denny of Rochester, IN, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 brother Thomas (Jan) Denny of Logansport, IN and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 10 siblings: Ike, Glenn, June, Norman (Big Dick), Don, Sie, Betty, Bonnie, Ben and Leah.

His family is honoring his wishes of no services.

There will be a celebration of life in late spring/early summer of 2022 in Squaw Lake, MN. Family and friends will be notified of the date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes or Shriners Hospital.
