David LeRoy Anderson

David LeRoy Anderson Born August 20th 1943 to Howard and LaVonne (Streiff) Anderson in New Haven Township MN. Passed away at home with family at his side June 14th 2023.

David grew up in Pine Island MN. He was the second oldest of 7 children. He started working at the age of 12 on a dairy farm and graduated high school at 17. David was a very hard worker and did a lot of different jobs. Working as a driver for Bill Markham's dairy truck, Rochester Silo company, Walker Tree service, Pine Plating company, and many more.

David got married to his first wife LuElla Koppersmith in 1963 and had 2 children Ronald and Penny. David married his second wife Nancy Hedquist in 1974. Together they had 2 children, Dina and Jena. David liked to fish and hunt. He loved to go to Montana and hunt for Deer and Buffalo. David liked to smoke his cigarettes and drink his Diet Pepsi. He liked joke around and give people hell. He always said he was gonna be cremated so no one could try and button up his shirt.

David is preceded in death by his parents Howard and LaVonne Anderson - Stewart. Step-father Delbert Stewart, brother- in- laws William Willing, and Ed Klingsporn.

David is survived by his wife Nancy Anderson. Children Ronald Anderson, Penny Anderson- Burger, Dina Anderson, Jena (Adam Diede) Anderson. Grandchildren Ashley, Jeremy, Amber and great- grandchild Carter. 6 siblings and lots of nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be at a later date.
