Brittany Nicole Lundquist (29) passed away unexpectedly at her home in Peachtree City Georgia on June 15th, 2023. Brittany was born January 29th, 1994, in Deer River Minnesota to Kimberly Grauman and Jason Lundquist.
In 2013, Brittany gave birth to Lexus Marie Lundquist who all knew became her entire life, pride, joy, best friend, and most said her beautiful twin. Brittany was a beautiful soul who was best known for making people smile with her uncanny laugh and endless supply of energy. No words can describe her obsession for the outdoors. To say she loved hiking, fishing, and hunting would be a tremendous understatement—it was the core of who she was. Lex was her partner in crime for all those activities, they continually tried to out fish each other, and shared a goal of hiking every State Park in Minnesota together.
Brittany was a graduate from Deer River High School who never took “You can’t do it” as an acceptable phrase. From a near death car accident in 2012 which resulted in 13 reconstructive surgeries, routinely working 2-3 jobs at a time, completing her Radiology Degree from the Minnesota State Community Technical College in Detroit Lakes, and being a dedicated and loving Mother—She could handle anything. Brittany loved working as a bartender and waitress with her extended family at Riley’s Cannibal Junction. The community and family she built while working there truly became a part of who she was. Her other passion was working as a first responder for Meds-1 where she started as an EMT and became a Certified Paramedic. Both of which were milestones along the way to her accomplishing her primary goal of becoming a Flight Nurse.
A new adventure started for Brittany in 2021 relocating with her daughter Lexus and boyfriend Zac Evans to the quaint, quiet town of Peachtree City Georgia. She enjoyed living down south in the southern climate with all the new people, experiences, and places to explore but missed the pristine lakes of Minnesota where she could calm her inner desire for fishing. Like everywhere Brittany went, she touched the hearts and souls of many people down south and made many friends from co-workers to neighbors. Once again showing how her infectious, contagious personality was unique and definitely one of a kind.
Brittany gave Lex the world and loved Zac unconditionally till the last day of her life on earth. Now making heaven so much more magnificent holding all her grandmothers tightly in the presence of our Lord Jesus.
Brittany is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandma Glenna (Bell) Grauman, Paternal Grandma Janet (Berg) Lundquist, and Step Grandma Arlys (Rutanen) Grauman.
