Beverly June (Hayes) Ziebell

Beverly June Ziebell, 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, of Deer River, MN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24 leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in Eyota, MN, in 1940 to Alfred and Dora Hayes. Beverly attended school in Austin, MN, and started a career as a cosmetologist. She loved to travel and was always working on a crochet or embroidery project.  Beverly was a devoted mother to Karen, Carol, Joan and Wayne.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Dora Hayes, Daughter Joan Ziebell (Darren) Paul, and sister Hazel Trandem.

She is survived by her husband Laverne Ziebell, daughters Karen Turnmire and Carol (Joe) Amos, and son Wayne (Carmen) Ziebell along with grandchildren Amy (Jeremy) Malheim, Ryan (Agnes) Turnmire, Alan (Karen) Turnmire, Erin Turnmire, Jason Amos, Mike (Julia) Amos, Alex Ziebell and Aurora Ziebell. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren Emma and Sidney Malheim, Ethan Turnmire, Owen and Lorelai Turnmire, Mason Jones, Natalie and Luke Amos who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 31, 2024, 4-6 pm at Carroll Funeral Home, 314 Main Ave E, Deer River, MN 56636, and the funeral is Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 1pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 29 2nd Avenue East, Federal Dam, MN 56641.

Memorials to the family in lieu of flowers are preferred.
