Barbara L. (Pearce) Kelly

Barbara L. Pearce Kelly,92, died June 13,2021 at Bigfork Valley Hospital.

She was born April 13,1929 in Chicago Illinois to Russel W. Pearce and Margaret Mary Seedorf Pearce. She married Merwyn L. "Mike" Kelly in 1978 in Bigfork MN. Barbara was a teacher at Effie School until she retired in 1994.

She is survived by a brother Russel W. Pearce of Lake Oswego OR. Also surviving are three daughters, Carol A. Ferree and Laura L. Heriot of Littlefork MN, and Beth H. Blanchette of Spirit Lake ID. Barbara is also survived by her friend Brigette Bursee of Saskatoon SK, 12 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Previous to making her home in Bigfork, Barbara taught school in Kankakee Ill. She earned an M.A. in education while in Kankakee. Besides being known as an educator, she was also known for her hobbies as a basket maker and golfer. She was also well received as a national and international traveler.

A memorial service will be held at a future date. Cremation arrangements were made with Carroll Funeral Home, burial is in Greenwood Cemetery, Talmoon MN
