Allen Wilson Jr. Obituary

Allen James Wilson Jr. 69 passed away Sunday May 24, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. at Solvay Hospice House Duluth, MN. His Wife Marilyn Wilson, Brother Edward Wilson his wife Robin and Cousin Dan Fudd Wilson were with him at his passing. He was graduate of Deer River High School Class of 1969. He attended Haskel College Lawerence Kansas. He attended Itasca Community College He served in the U.S.Navy and was stationed at Naval Air Base Pennsacola, FL as Aviation Jet Mechanic. He was Local 633 Cement Mason for 20 yrs. He worked at IHS Hospital for 11 yrs. until he retired in 2013. Allen Liked to Deer Hunt, wild ricing, and reading. He was currently raising three of his grandchildren Duran, Soloan, and Serene. Allen had a great sense of humor and loving personality. Little kids just loved him. He played in a band called Red Freedom for years. His band members were Don Robinson, Dan Fudd Wilson, and Gordy Cloud.

He was preceded in death by Father Allen Wilson Sr., Mother Ella Wilson, Brother Edward Melvin Wilson.

He is survived by Wife Marilyn Wilson, Son Alvin Wilson, Daughter Anne Wilson, Brother Edward John Wilson, Sisters Marella Dodson, and Mary Wilson. Grandchildren Justin Wilson, Duran Wilson, Soloan Wilson, Serene Wilson.

Ball Club Community Center Wake 4:00 p.m. Thursday May 28

Final viewing 10:00 a.m. Friday May 29 Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church Ball Club Due to social distancing 33 of the immediate family will be the only ones allowed in the church. Everyone is welcome to come to the cemetery..
