Adelheid (Adele) Charlotte Hill, 89, Bigfork, died Sunday, November 20, 2022 at her home in Bigfork, MN.
Adele was born May 13, 1933 in Passau, West Germany.
Preceding her in death were her husband, George Wallace Hill; parents, Xavier and Adelheid (Zaglauer) Baumann, Bad Tolz, West Germany; brothers, Edgar Baumann, Munich, West Germany and Walter Baumann, Mittenwald, West Germany; sister, Brunhilde Hackl, Waakirchen, West Germany.
She is survived by four daughters, Carolyn (Larry) Kaczor, Bigfork, Susan Petoletti, Fairbault, Lisa (Pete) Olson, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and Anita Chafos, Saint Paul; one son, George (Dave Mentch), Wabasha; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Annemarie Furtbauer, Waakirchen, West Germany.
Visitation and funeral Mass are Monday, November 28, 2022, at Our Lady of the Snows, Bigfork. Visitation starts at 10 a.m. and funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
A luncheon will be served, followed by burial at Olivet Cemetery, Deer River.
